Robin Van Persie has sealed a perfect ending to his career in professional football after winning the 2017/18 Dutch Cup. 
 
The retired striker made his professional debut in 2001 and spent most years playing for prominent football clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United. Having played over 550 games and scored over 250 goals in total, Van Persie retired after playing his final Eredivisie match at his boyhood club, Feyenoord in May 2019.  
 
Van Persie has left his legacy by having countless achievements throughout his career as a professional footballer. His achievements include winning two consecutive Premier League Golden Boot, several Premier League Player of the Month, Premier League title, FA Cup title and Netherlands all-time top scorer with 50 goals, are among many achievements during his career.
